Description
In Module 4 – Injection Techniques Using a Syringe or Pen, injection therapy will be analyzed. This session will provide descriptions of proper drawing and injection techniques using a vial or a pen, while also highlighting barriers to injection therapy and their possible solutions. Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians will learn about different sizes of pen needles and syringes, paying special attention to the advantages, disadvantages and place in therapy of each. Finally, a list of different injection aids will be revealed to assist special population in improving injection skills.
