Nutraceuticals play a key role in functional pharmacy. In this module, we will identify various reasons to add nutritional medicine to your practice, as well as how to recognize the role that nutritional medicine can play in healthcare (both as a standalone practice, or in a complementary addition to conventional medicine). We will define different levels of quality of nutraceuticals, and then begin to list the evidence-based benefits top nutraceuticals may provide to your patient’s health.
