While most of the discussion around pharmacy-provided immunizations has focused on injectable products, personnel providing immunizations in the pharmacy setting must also be familiar with available intranasal formulations. This educational session will provide information about the history and development of the intranasal influenza vaccine and identify relevant recommendations, precautions, and contraindications for this product. Learners who complete this education will be equipped with the knowledge they need to provide intranasal immunizations safely and confidently in the pharmacy setting.
