Description
This module will review the cleaning process, including deactivation, decontamination, cleaning, and sanitizing hazardous drug areas. Procedures related to cleaning and disposal will be reviewed, including management of spills, proper disposal, and how hazardous drugs surfaces can be monitored using wipe sampling, and how personnel can be monitored using a medical surveillance program.
